AIPS Hosts International Conference January 2012

The American Institute of Pakistan Studies will be hosting an international conference on archaeology and cultural heritage in Pakistan January 5th through the 7th, 2012 at the Margalla Hotel in Islamabad. The conference is sponsored by AIPS with support from the US Embassy and in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and Museums, the Ministry of National Heritage and Integration, and the Government of Pakistan.

“Pakistani Public” Conference: Final Report and Pictures

The AIPS-funded International Conference entitled “What is the Pakistani Public?” took place December 26–28, 2012 at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, attended by a wide variety of Pakistani participants from literary acadamics to artists, and faculty from American universities such as Rutgers, Johns Hopkins, and UCLA.
