AIPS will plan a series of three workshops in 4 different subject areas for a total of twelve workshops. There will be a different faculty leader for each workshop in each faculty leader for each workshop in each series for a total of twelve workshop leaders.
A series of three workshops will be held over a period of two years(a gap of 4-6 months between each workshop) on each topic/thematic area. Each individual workshop will be of five day duration and will be led by one faculty member only.
Those faculty members associated with one specific subject area(three members in total per series) will confer before hand about the topics each will cover, but only one faculty will be conducting the workshop at any given time. The continuity in these workshops will be through student participation and thematic coherence. Ten to twelve junior faculty will be chosen for each thematic area(three workshops) and the same group will attend all three workshops over a period of 1-2 years.
Summary:
There will be four subject areas with three workshops in each area, 12 total. Each individual workshop will be conducted by one faculty from the US. Each workshop will have 10-12 students who will take a set of three workshops together over a period of time. We will eventually have 12 US based faculty travel to Pakistan in order to lead their respective workshops.

Compensation-Each workshop leader will receive:
- Round trip airfare to Pakistan
- $1500 honorarium
- Boarding and Lodging expenses in Pakistan for 10 days
The participants will be chosen from the same group of Pakistani Universities that AIPS has signed the MOU with(IUCPSS).
