J. Mark Kenoyer Protecting Ancient Culture

AIPS Trustee J. Mark Kenoyer has been working with archaeologists from all over the world at Mes Aynak, a 2,600-year-old Buddhist monestary in Afghanistan. Scheduled to be destroyed to make way for a copper mine in three months, Kenoyer is busy trying to salvage as many artifacts at undiscovered portions of the site which may date to 3000 B.C.
