Assistant Professor of Sociology, South Asia
"The Department of Sociology at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2023. We seek scholars who have a teaching and research focus on South Asia. We are open to a wide range of methodological and substantive approaches, including but certainly not limited to: Comparative Historical Sociology, Demography, Gender, Urban Sociology, Migration, and Social Movements. Sociology at Dartmouth is a vibrant intellectual community with scholars spanning four broad research areas: health, political and economic sociology, race and ethnicity, and social psychology.
