Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Apply Now - AIPS 2019 Short-term Research Grants to Pakistan!

Call for applications - now open! AIPS is delighted to be able to offer short-term research travel grants to Pakistan for 2019. This grant is open to AIPS members, regardless of citizenship. We strongly encourage graduate students to apply. AIPS-funded travel is restricted to Islamabad and/or Lahore for US citizens. All research much be conducted by December 31, 2019. It is assumed that grantees will spend one to three months in Pakistan conducting research on this award.
